The Hobbit Pub The Hobbit is a unique venue located in Bevois Valley on the the main Bevois Valley Road. You are sure to find a great atmosphere oozing from every brick of its bare brick interior walls. This is a great pub for summer evenings out as they must have the biggest beer garden in all of Southampton! There are two bars, an indoor and an outdoor stage. Look out for some big name headline acts playing here soon. Other features of this town pub are the great chillout room with plenty of comfortable arm chairs, the pool room and the second bar with a stage for the live bands. With a fine selection of real ales and drink promotions they sure to offer something for everyone! There is always plenty of live music going on at this pub.
Being so close to the University at Highfield the student population of Southampton seems to find this pub a welcoming home, and helps them to take their minds off their studies for a while and socialise. Add to this the fact that there is a happy hour every day for eight hours until 8.00 pm and you're sure to find the Hobbit is well worth a visit.

Monday is DJ Sparky playing a selection of tunes and requests from 9.00pm Tuesday Live Music with James and Denovo (Acoustic Duo). On Wednesday we have a varying mix of great entertainment. On Thursday its Tom Bombadills open mic night. On Friday and Saturday evenings there are always live bands playing, and on Sunday they have Live Music by candlelight in the evening.

There is a Darts Board and a Pool Table in the upstairs Bar for playing games. There is also a selection of game machines. Also in the upstairs bar is a touch screen jukebox so you can choose the tunes while playing your games.

There is a very large beer garden with plenty of benches and room to enjoy those evenings outside! All week nights and Saturday 9.00 pm to 1.30 am a selection of Burgers Chips and Hot Dogs are available at the burger bar here.
