The Hobbit Pub The Hobbit is a unique venue located in Bevois Valley on the the main Bevois Valley Road. You are sure to find a great atmosphere oozing from every brick of its bare brick interior walls. This is a great pub for summer evenings out as they must have the biggest beer garden in all of Southampton! There are two bars, an indoor and an outdoor stage. Look out for some big name headline acts playing here soon. Other features of this town pub are the great chillout room with plenty of comfortable arm chairs, the pool room, a second bar with a stage for the live bands and free WiFi.
With a fine selection of real ales and drink promotions they are sure to offer something for everyone! There is always plenty of live music going on at this pub with a full entertainment program seven nights a week!

Entertainments Every Day of the Week!

 Live Music Venue
Monday alternates fortnightly DJ sessions from Spikey & Paddy with selected acoustic solo artists/duos/trios on the intervening weeks. Tuesday is full-on Rock Night with DJs playing great Rock tunes. On Wednesday entertainment includes Gary 'okey' Myles on weeks 2 & 4 of the month, interleaved with live acts and DJ Stickee (reggae/ska, etc) on other weeks. On Thursday its the long standing Tom Bombadill's Open Mic Night. Friday and Saturday evenings mostly showcase local, national & international live bands, with some Saturdays featuring themed Fancy Dress Party Nights. Sunday round off the week with late-night music from resident saxophonist Denovo playing with a local singer/guitarist from the weekly-rolling roster: Andy Harris, Dan 'Cats Are Aliens' Jordan, James Carey, Johnny B & Stu Simpson.

There is a Darts Board and a Pool Table in the upstairs Bar for playing games. There is also a selection of game machines. Also in the upstairs bar is a touch screen jukebox so you can choose the tunes while playing your games.

Large Beer Garden

Is this the biggest beer garden in Hampshire?
There is a very large beer garden with plenty of benches and room to enjoy those evenings outside! All week nights and Saturday 8.00 pm to 1.00 am a selection of take away food including home-made Burgers, Cheesy Chips, Curried Goat, Jerk Chicken and Rice n' Peas is available from Chef Bernie's Caribbean food bar located here.
