Just off the main road through Bitterne (behind the leisure centre) lies one of the nicest Real Ale Pubs Southampton has to offer. With plenty of outside seating, a full food menu, a tranquil garden, a large selection of wines and spirits, open fires in the winter and superb floral displays in the summer, this pub is a real gem to discover.

Friday	11.30am to 11.00pm	12.00 to 2.00pm and 6.00pm to 8.00pm
Saturday	11.30am to 11.00pm	12.00 to 2.00pm and 6.00pm to 8.00pm
Sunday	12.00 to 10.30pm	12.00 to 2.00pm

* Please note we are closed in the afternoon between 2.30 and 5.00pm during the week. OPEN ALL DAY FRIDAY, SATURDAY AND SUNDAY
We hold a quiz night every Monday at 9pm - (Fun Quiz 50p entry per person) Also on Sunday at around 4.30 pm we hold our weekly meat draw.

Beer Garden

Ajoining the side and along the front of the pub lies our beer gardens, with a covered area and bordered with shrubs and flowers. The beer gardens have 15 exterior tables for eating and drinking outside.

Now with two separate areas, a heated area for smokers to the front, and an additional non-smoking family area garden.

There is also a car park at the rear of the pub with ample parking for visitors.

Real Ales

We have a choice of 14 beers and chilled lagers and always have Nine Real Ales on tap, we have the famous Wadworth 6X available direct from the Wooden Cask, IPA, Bishops Tipple and Horizon. You will also find examples of other traditional fine real ales, as shown on our Beer Board.
All ales accredited by cask marque and CAMRA for excellence in cellar keeping.
